How to spot good blow-y drying days

I tend to use the BBC website for weather. It would help me out to be able to spot good days for line drying the washing. Is it just down to wind speed or does direction count or what?

Sorry if it's a daft question Blush

I haven't a clue ~ I just look for days when it's not forecast to rain and if there's a good breeze blowing, that's a bonus!

low humidity helps but tbh if it is dry 9and not foggy) I just shove it out - any drying is better than none.

I highly recommend \link{http://www.raintoday.co.uk/\raintoday?} - it doesn't forecast as such, but you can see the pattern of rainfall/showers, & how fast they're moving - it's made a huge difference to my drying forecasting (I'm sure my neighbours are impressed Wink)

sometimes it sticks, you need to wait until the images are moving

Thanks all - today has been perfect actually - a bit sunny & nicely blow-y. I shall have a look at raintoday Ponders
