Contradictory forecasts - which to believe?

BBC says it will be pouring here (North Norfolk) tomorrow. MetCheck says just cloudy. Need to plan the day with some degree of certainty - which is most accurate usually, or is there somewhere better to look please?

obv the above is out of date now but am still wondering about the 2 weather services. Going away today, BBC says lovely and sunny, MetCheck says rain & sunny intervals. Gah.

Can anyone help with which one to trust please?

I think OYBBK would say go with the metoffice/BBC. I think I remember her saying that metcheck is based solely on computer models/predictions; there's no 'human' element interpreting the data, like there is with the metoffice. (Or sumfink like that. She'll probably be along later to correct me!)

hooray that's the answer I was hoping for! thank you!

Gloria -what if the metoffice/BBC say different things though?

DD wants to do a car boot sale today so I'm checking forecasts and getting different results Confused

met office - the bbc intepret what the met office say but the met office are the ones running some of the weather models.
