Is it really going to piss it down all next week?

typical, I'm going camping and all the forecasts seem to say it will be. Going to Pembrokeshire and really can't face the prospect of a week of rain. Not after last years monsoon. I'm seriously thinking of trying for a last minute holiday to Spain.

I think it is :( going on holiday to northumberland next week. Not camping but have done one holiday where it rained every day and was a little trying. Were staying near the beach - I want to go on it!

I agree. Plus children are away seeing their grandparents and I feel I'm missing out on nice weather with rhem if that makes any sense.

we had 2 weeks of torrential rain, in our caravan in dorset, last august. came home after a week, because it was so awful. This year only booked for a week, becasue of that. we are going in 2 weeks time, for a week. And you say it will probably be awful? oh god. I can't stand it.
I am so fed up with british weather.

Oblomov, it will probably be fine in two weeks time. That's because I will be back at work in two weeks time. I always pick the wrong week. It's lovely before and after I'm away and shit the week I go camping. Every fucking year apart from two in the past ten years.

Oybk, thanks for a bit of reassurance. We,re going sat to sat so maybe we might have three ok days. Will have to go and research rainy day activities in Tenby.

it is, but dont lose hope because it may well not come to that, if high pressure builds on thursday, then perhaps it will keep the low pressure at bay (hopeful, despite what the models say)

Well I'm here, on holiday, camping. It's pissing it down, same as yesterday. Today there has been thunder and lightening to go with the very heavy rain. For some reason met check won't open on my iPad but theweatheroutlook is saying better tomorrow and tues. Though the forecast on my phone says rain for next five days..........

It's going to be a usual seaside holiday of never going on the beach I fear......dd cried today.

viva, according to the Met office it will be dry for you mon, tues, wednesday.

tuesday looks like the best day, with lots of sunshine, so most likely a great beach day for you.

i hope its fine for you.x
