Weather warning here.
Think though that just about anywhere in the UK could get thundery showers today.

Two rumbles of thunder and one flash of lightening just after I left to walk to school. I was expecting to get drenched but there was a very light shower at about 3pm and that's all! (phew stayed dry!)

Peeing down now! Glad it waited until I got home!

Raining but wheres my thunder n lightening?

We've had nothing else here in Leicester since that shower, just before midday. We're getting the odd dark cloud overhead but I don't think we're going to get our thundery showers, it just isn't humid enough and that's reflected by the latest update from the metoffice; there's just one covering the SouthWest now.

Well rain lasted for 30 mins and that was it.

Having said I didn't think we'd get anything else, we're having some excellent thundery rain at the moment! It's gone quite dark, there's been a few rumbles of thunder and hail! Some of the hailstones have been about 5mm across and are making a right racket on our conservatory roof!

We're just over the bridge into Wales but had a very brief shower and is v v v dark in that thundery way now.

Yes Taunton's storms last for ever, and as a result Bridgwater (where I grew up) rarely gets much although when they do it hangs around as well- to do with the hills I think.

The hail and rain has finally stopped here. At one point, it looked like we'd had a light covering of snow because of the hail! The pond's noticeably fuller so it'll be happy tadpoles there!
