Very much sunshine and showers to start. Cool (mid teens in the day) Quite gusty too 30-40mph+ so if you are camping pitch well! As we go through to mid week and on to the end of the week it looks like an improving picture, warmer and less wet as a high pressure looks set to build. (thats a bit of a way off though so don't shoot me if I'm wrong!)

There are so many good indoor things to do -
-down a slate mine in Llanberis or Blaenau Ffestiniog,
-down a copper mine around Beddgelert,
-soft play centre in Caernarfon,
-woollen mill at Llanwrst (free ad mission) where you can have a go on the loom,
-swimming at Porthmadog and Harlech
-explore the electric mountain at Port Dinorwig,
-the alternative centre for technology in Machynlleth,
-a steam train ride on the welsh mountain railway or ffestiniog
and tons of other stuff too -
best of all take a sowester and some wellies and stand on the side of a hillside and just breathe in! nothing like it.

Fear not eatyourveg, we will go, we always do, we are hardy with excellent waterproofs.

Thanks for the reminders of indoor stuff though. Have never done electric mountain, or the slate mines.
