I think the picture at the top of the page is better than the video as it shows the other strands (are they called 'streamers?') to the main lightning bolt.

It is an amazing photo! I'm not sure that they are streamers - I don't know if an ordinary camera would pick them up. I think they might be step leaders???
I've had to look this up and this article might be correct.

Doesn't surprise me, I was in that storm and it was right over the approach to Heathrow - we wondered if anything got hit.
