Quite a lot of people in the middle of the country registering snow on uksnow at the moment! A lot of them are asking when it was forecast as well!

Snow I think is natures way of punishing forecasters and bringing them back down to earth Grin When I went to bed last night there was something on the tv forecast but I had drunk wine it was late so I didnt come and say anything.

hopefully/unhopefully should melt this afternoon.

i have a thread in aibu to explain the snow!

Bunbaker · 19/02/2011 08:56

Hi Katz
It's snowing here near Barnsley as well. I bet they close Snake pass. It always closes at the first flake of snow.

bilblio · 19/02/2011 09:00

I'm better than forecasters. I've been saying it'd snow this weekend for weeks.... years!

It almost Always snows around the 21st Feb, it's my Mum's birthday we only live 45 minutes away, but that drive involves the Woodhead Pass.

We have heavy rain here, but I'm getting reports of snow over there.

Katz · 19/02/2011 09:01

lol! although having been on it when its snowing i can see why!

Bunbaker · 19/02/2011 09:05

I live near Woodhead pass and yes we have a fair bit of snow.
