Comming down thick and fast here in north dorset, just say the bbc weather and they said somerset could have over a foot of snow in the next couple of hours and devon and Dorset could see almost as much. We have had a few cm's fall in the past hour and the flakes seem to be getting bigger. Cars are slowing down on the road outside . Our neighbours have just left for the airport armed with blankets .

We have just had freezing rain here.

Noooo - we've had rain all morning (south coast) and snow has all but thawed. More of it is not at all welcome .

my daughter who lives in the same town as me but a different area has had no snow this morning at all,it is raining where she is.Just 20 mins away by car.How can it be so different.
