Unlikely.

We're not far away and it's bad. Really bad.

Deepest snow I remember.. Ever.

Thanks. I thought it seemes odd they're booking him on a flight to Birmingham as that seems to be the worst place i nEngland now. We have no snow further up nort so why they can't get him a plane to Leeds/Nottingham/Humberside I don't know.

He's stranded in Sweden or Amsterdam or Germany. I've lost track.

It comes about half way up the wheel of the wheel barrow in the garden. It's not stopped all day. I'm surprised to hear that they've closed the airport but tbh, it looks like it will get worse rather than better. Sorry. It does look beautiful though.

Message now says shut till at least 17:00. Not looking good. I'm texting him telling him to try and get to Amsterdam if he's not already there. At least then there are ferry options.

I reckon we've got about 8 inches of snow. We're just south of Birmingham.

Birm airport live arrivals board showing a flight from munich as expected to land at 17:45. So that's got to be a good sign as it must have left munich now. Am hoping dh is on it. Phone is off. Unless his battery died.
