DH has got to Paris, took 48 hours to get there from Sweden. I don't think he'll get a UK flight back tonight. Fingers crossed more airports will be open tomorrow. Is the snow gettign worse tomorrow or clearing a bit?

Well it was meant to be Humberside, then got changed to Birmingham and then got changed to Paris. I think he will take any flight to UK he is offered.

He's booked onto the eurostar for tomorrow.

Hope he gets home soon as well.

I mamanged to rebook ds but it doesn't looklike it's going to happen today either

Just got back from a round trip to Stansted - made it in five hours last night, heard the flight was cancelled but went anyway this morning but the place was packed to the gunnells with people left over from yesterday, so we turned around and came home again.

No ski ing for us this year! .

Could be much worse, though - at least we're all together and not stranded anywhere.

DH has got as far as London but trains are cancelled. He's getting a train somewhere else but nearer than London and then going to tacxi the rest of the way. He's been travelling for nearly 72 hours now.

I'm glad your DH is at home. I do feel sorry for all the people at UK airports without even a blanket, sounds awful.

We haven't got any snow here either.
