Where's my snow?

When I looked over the weekend they were forecasting blizzards for Tuesday in the South West. Now we have nothing all week
Tell me I've got it wrong and there is more snow coming after all?

Are you covered here in this metoffice warning? I thought the southwest was mentioned on BBC1's Breakfast weather as well this morning in that they forecast your area having some snow today.

The lady on five live radio this morning told me I was in the middle of severe weather in the south west. It was a pity nobody had told the weather this as at the time we had beautiful blue skies and sunshine.

Oh it's freezing and we still have snow on the ground. But I was hoping for more. I'm all prepared after warnings of major blizzards tomorrow/Weds and nothing

I'm giving up on the BBC website. It's changing all the time and I'm going to just look out of my window. Its very cold and grey.

The MET office site lead me to believe Cornwall was covered in snow, hasn't it snowed at all down there ?

We've had no snow whatsoever where we are. Poor children think the weather forecasters have something against our area.

Not your fauly winterpetunia or OYBBK. It was those tricksters at the BBC Weather getting me all excited. I'm now feeling a bit mad, as if I imagined all the bad weather they forecast for Devon this week.

I'm sure the BBC weather this morning said snow for your area today. Just spotted this in metmonkey's weather warning, "The South West is not out of the woods, further bands of wintriness and snow will likely try to push up from the South at times towards the end of the week ? perhaps bringing some good falls. Confidence in this is low at the moment." So maybe some hope for more snow for you there.

My 30cm ruler has disappeared in the snow, you can have ds much as you want

All is not lost then . Thank goodness I gave DD her Christmas sledge early, I ws going to save it for the big snow this week.

it is just on the very tip of Cornwall but going the wrong way. Its quite possible you'll get some out of tomorrows lot.

Where's mine? I am in Croydon, Surrey and he have had nothing! It seems to be snowing all around us but not actually here. Bah!

yes it snowed here but nothing settled. . . . I want some snow now. We live in the centre of town and walk to school.(10 yr old DS) . .so it wont cause me any disruption.. .
Except , my grown up DD is stuck up north at boyfriends dads house and late back to London to work. . .

We've had snow all day here Sue, but very very light, just flakes floating in the wind so there wasn't enough to settle :( I've been very disappointed, was hoping today would be a good one for snow. Good to know there's still hope.

I want to be unable to go south on Friday and north on Saturday if the weather gods are listening?

I didn't know Barnstaple had some, bah! The moor is still covered, we were sledging there at the weekend but I want enough snow to make a snowman. Let's cross fingers and hope we get loads. The weekend forecast looked promising last time I looked, but that's aaaages away.
