Will we get snowed in?

Wish I was going - have another commitment.

Impossible to actually give a forecast with any accuracy. A lot of snow developments tend to appear in the short term forecasts but.....

There is a pretty reasonable chance that London will see snow showers. If my experience is anything to go by (olympia last year) trains ran an awful lot better than the roads did under what just might be similar circumstances.

There's also a potential development that just might bring decent snow over friday evening/night too. (no threats/promises - just the possibility)

But there again you might all get nothing at all.

ermmm, latest GFS model run would give you quite an interesting travel situation should it come off. It shows widespread snow!!
Lets see what tomorrow's models show.....

I'm already in London, so I'm alright but have others coming from Lincs, South Coast and Glos, so we are covering all directions, lol.

Aha - plagarised read an analysis of several different models and gfs is the only model showing the rainy sleet bit.

was a bit rubbish wasn't it! silly misbehaving snow - needs to share itself around more, not all fall in just a few regions. Snow showers seem determioned not to happen!
