Ever since a 'certain volcano' caused such grief in April, I've been keeping an eye on the Icelandic webcams.
There's a webcam of a lake in Reykjavik which looks lovely today because they've had the first snow of the year. There are also webcams of the volcanoes Hekla and Katla that are also looking rather cold and wintry now.
It's been interesting to watch through the seasons, as the colours change and seeing the different weather (sometimes you can't see anything because it's chucking it down with rain!)
