There is a really weird orangy/yellow glow here this morning

It's very odd

Then it started throwing it down

It's to do with the temperature change I think. It's fecking freezing here - it was 22 degrees yesterday, now it's minus 2

It's gone now along with the rain, we had a very wet day yesterday too - stormy with high winds & heavy rain

I woke up to find both DC in my bed this morning (DH is away) - they had woke up, found it was still dark and cold so decided to bunk in with me.

They are having their toenails cut after breakfast!!!

Maybe - it was about 20 minutes ago though & I thought the sun came up earlier.....but maybe not

I know, it was nearly seven. I'm normally up by six but I woke at 5 and it was dark and cold so I stuck my head under the pillow and went back to sleep.

Katy - if you are oop north your sunrise may well not have been till sixish but I'd be surprised if it was later, though it's only been up since seven here.

Couldn't have been dawn - the orangey/yellow is back with the rain

It is so odd looking

Plus with DD being 12 - she isn't up yet I I have done nearly 3 hrs of OU homework

orange/yellow = start of autumn

We had the orangey yellow thing on Thursday just before it thundered and started chucking it down.

And Katymac - don't count your chickens too soon - DD is nearly 21 and I get her coming in at 3am for a chat - difference is it's before she goes to bed, not when she wakes up...
