Oh thanks OYBBK. Pouring with rain in Glasgow today.

Good old equinox weather. DP (having not learned from our windswept holiday on Mull at the same time last year) has booked to go to Rum camping next week. He was looking at the - (admittedly far-out - forecast, and it looks sunnier...with 100mph winds for the end of the weekend.

cerealoffender - as I am going to Cofton Park on Sunday, I'd rather it wasn't entirely soggy.

I've had a quick look at the GFS model midnight - couldnt see extreme winds on there?

not sure where he was looking tbh, but good to know he's not going to get blown off the top of a mountain.
