Weather of night 14th/15th

Would be interested in any reports of damage from last nights squally showers. We had some really active ones through in the night, with torrential (in the true sense of the word) rain and strong gusts.

Please post here or cat me if you want.

The storm was a bit disappointing here tbh.

Few flashes of lightning and a few rumbles, then that was it, even the rain was oinly heavy for a minute.

I feel cheated.

We had a few flashes of lightning/rumbles of thunder/torrential rain just as I got home from the afternoon school run and then had it all again, about 7.45pm. It's blown loads of leaves down; they're all yellow ones as well so it looks like we've jumped a season and gone to autumn out there!

we lost a sunflower and a chair blew over. Dramatic damage indeed!

well we are having our roof redone as it had been leaking in an entirely different place but last night it leaked through to our bed

you poor thing! that must have felt a bit desperate in the middle of the night.
We could hear water gushing over the tops of our gutters but I was so shattered I lay there just wondering what sight would befall us in the morning.
