About to wean 5mo dd - Do I sterilise everything?

I know I sterilised the spoons for dd1 but cant remember about bowls.

I have been advised to wean dd2 because she is drinking so much formula and not being satisfied by it.

I am waiting until she is 5mo + 1week (was told to do it when she wasnt quite 5 months!)

Am I better off sterilising everything because she is young?

Just keep sterilising the bottles as normal, particularly the teats. There's no need to sterilise feeding bowls and spoons though.

The official advice is: No need to sterilise - just make sure properly washed in hot water. Same goes for cups/bottles/teats (although I would probably still sterilise teats). The emphasis now is on the washing thoroughly (as concerns people have been rinsing then thinking using steriliser will get it clean). The real risk is with milk residue from formula, hence need to clean properly.
