How much fruit is too much at 8 months?

Hello,

Just wanted some opinions on how much fruit my DS should have each day. He loves it and would eat it all day given the chance! I'm BLW and at each meal give a "first course" and then fruit after so I suppose you could call it pud.

Occasionally he'll have only fruit for breakfast but not often.

As I'm BLW he eats as much or as little as he likes, though he's been pretty good up to now and tries most things. I must admit though if he's not eaten much I will go for the failsafe banana as he loves these and I know they are good for the calories!

He gets a very wide variety too, has tried (and loved) most things.

So, am I setting him up to have a sweet tooth? Or am I worrying too much?!

I don't think you can worry about the sweet tooth thing as milk (BM and formula) is already pretty sweet.

Perhaps try giving sweet veg like parsnips, suede, sweet potato as chips if you're worried?

But as you say, he's eating other stuff, so don't worry!
