Hi

Just wondered if anyone had similar experiences or advice as I dont know if I should be worried. My DD now 32 weeks, is refusing all manner of solids.

She is on neocate and lansoprazole for reflux and cows milk intolerance and was in hospital for a week at 5 1/2 months with oesophagitis so the paeds think she has a bit of a feeding aversion.

I have tried: making food fun, eating with her, messy play, BLW, purees, feeding before, during and after milk, other people trying. have also tried a complete break for a few days then starting again with baby rice.

The only thing she has taken a couple of times is banana mixed with neocate so its like a milkshake - not sure you could call it solids but she has slurped a couple of spoonfuls of tat on 2 occassions in the last fortnight. other times she refuses it.

I am supposed to avoid all cereals, dairy and egg for now due to potential allergies, but have tried pretty much everything else.

She only has 700mls milk in 24hrs so there isnt much scope to cut it down and in the last 2 weeks she has started waking at night alot more which im thinking is hunger (or heat/teething etc etc) - she definitely seems to want something more than milk but just clamps her mouth shut.

I think she is just going to be a slow one but really feel she should have got off the ground by now - Is this in any way normal????

Any advice appreciated
