Spoons - which type to use?

This may be a very daft questions, but when do you move from weaning spoons to more round plastic spoons? I only really use them for yoghurts, but someone seemed surprised that I was still using them for an 11 month old. He seemed to cope find with the bigger spoon - so should I change?

I just used ordinary teaspoons by that age .

I didn't know you get different sorts. I can't see that it matters. DS was always happier eating yogurt with his hands and using spoons as missiles.

I would just use a teaspoon too
