made puree veg for ds2 a few weeks ago, just looked in the bloody cupboard and have no baby jars so have taken out frozen puree but I doubt it will be done by 12.

Can I deforst it quicker but safely?

if they are in something hard and plastic, like a pot, place in a pan of boiling water, a bit like a ban Marie or whatever they are called. Make sure it's piping hot then take off and leave to cool, maybe it'll take about 20-30 mins, but it will be ready for lunch.

Or run side of jar/container if in one under tap to melt outside then turn upside down into pan add a bit of water and heat gently, check regularly and stir till bubbling, when ready leave to cool. Heating veg this way is safe, meat purees would need to be defrosted first to ensure heated through properly for a bub.

do you have a microwave? you can defrost and heat to piping hot in minutes if you do.
