puree fruit question

DS is weaning very well and have just brought some plums, pears and peaches. So far all fruit (appart from banana) & veg I have steamed then pureed. Should I do the same with these fruits? and if so do I peel then steam or steam with skins on?

TIA

if rip they should be soft enough not to need cooking - just peel and squish

or (much easier) take a bite yourself first and hand them the whole thing

I never pureed a thing. Plums and peaches I would remove the stone and peel perhaps if it's thick/hard but otherwise I just gave it in fist sized chunks. Or whole actually. She gummed them to oblivion. Pears were particularly popular but I made sure they were nice and squishy pears.
