Fast Flow Sippy Cup - Recommendations??

Hello

I have been trying to give our baby extra drinks of water in the hot weather. He has been exclusively breastfed and hasn't got a clue how to use a bottle (despite a number of failed attempts!).Can anyone recommend a good sippy cup?

We already have a doidy cup which DS can drink out of but the water also tends to go everywhere and I can't tell how much he has drunk. I bought him another sippy cup with the top on (MAM I think....it has cow prints on it) which he can't work out at all. Finally, I bought him a basic Boots Fast Flow Stage One sippy cup which was excellent BUT extremely hard to get the top off and impossible to get into the teat part to clean it. Can anyone recommend anything better?
Thanks

The cheap Tommee Tippee one is good and last for ages. It's under £2.

does the cow print one have a valve at the spout (is it this one)? If so, take the valve off and it will become free-flowing and easier to drink out of. both my lo's used the [[http://www.tommeetippee.co.uk/product/first_cup_4_months___/ TT first cup and ds graduated onto the super sipper

If your LO is still breastfed, you don't need to give them water as well - your milk is enough, and water may fill them up so that they can't take as much milk. See here.

i was going to post the same question.

ds2 is 1 and is exclusively breastfed apart from his food obviously. when we give him a cup he takes a suck and then opens his mouth and lets it all flow straight out onto his bib. i thought he would get used to it but he does it every time and i have the cow cup and the tommy tippie cup aswell. he ends up just banging it all over the high chair and making a mess.

what should i do?

I just use a tommy tippy first stage sippy cup, the fast flow one without valves. DS, breastfed and being weaned is 6 months now, he has been using this for about a month or so, loves it. Started by getting lots of water down him and a little was drunk, now he drinks most of it and spills only a little. He also loves drinking straight out of a cup. I was very surprised, but today he grabbed the cup and insisted on gulping, and actually got a lot of it!
