BLW info/fact sheet for CM/In-Laws

Hi

Does anyone know of or have a sheet that I could use for our brilliant CM and family who look after DS?

I have spoken about the concept but just wondered if anyone had anything illustrating the main points, and that gagging is not the same as choking etc...

TIA

This might be helpful, not sure if it has enough practical detail though.

That's exactly what I was after. Thanks a million!

Alternatively, there's this but I don't think it covers the gagging issue.

Thank-you. I've forwarded the link on to people who will be looking after DS, and if there are more concerns I'll print out that AngelDog.

My Dad called it 'this weeks new phase', but I was actually able to explain it to him and he seemed to get it.

"luckily" DS won't really eat from a spoon, so it's out of our hands (so to speak).

I mentioned it to the HV at CM's request and she was really on board with the idea. I was expecting her to tow the party line but she said BLW is the way forward!

Wow, a supportive HV.

I suspect my parents think the same! Well done to your DS for backing you up.

I mean the same as your dad, not your HV.

show them videos of it on youtube. can help make it more real rather than just reading about it. plus, seeing how many thousands of vids there of blw in action will help show you aren't some oddity, loads of folk are doing it.

Lovely

My CM showed ME a vid of DS having a go at roast potato today. Was lovely. I think she's a bit out of her comfort zone, but is a professional so giving it her all.
