Tongue Thrust

Just starting to look into weaning and I was wondering what is tongue thrust and how do you know it has gone?

Stupid question but I can't seem to find an explanation for it.

It's connected with spoon feeding, if you put a spoon of puree in and his/her tongue comes out of his/her mouth, pushing the puree out, then he/she still has the tongue thrust. Why do you ask? [nosy]
