Bit nervous about dropping the dream feed, any pearls of wisdom

dd 6 and half mo.
Been weaning 1 month now, 3 meals a day all food groups, good eater.

Still dream feed at midnight (she doesnt ask for it) and she drains the bottle 7 oz.

In daytime takes bout 20 oz.

She goes to bed at 6 to 7 and thru till 6 to 8 am, loosing interest in breakfast and never seems too hungry for it so I know the midnight needs dropping......
But the nights are generally peaceful .........will this end?

Rather than dropping it right away, try gradually bringing it forward, say 15 mins a night, and see what happens. I'd be tempted to move it to around 10pm and, assuming she's not waking earlier and earlier in the morning, then start reducing the amount I give her.

Good luck!

I just made less in the bottle with my DD so 7oz then 3 days later 6oz and so on.

With my 6mo old DS we've just gone cold turkey and he went from waking at 5am to about 4.30.

WEirdo.

Went cold turkey last Friday - DS now sleeping from 7.30 pm until 6.30/7 am. Just go for it, you can always add back in and try again. Good luck

I have just stopped my 7 month olds as she was not interested in breakfast, and yes she woke up a couple of times last night, but didn't need a feed, I think she is just used to being awake at that time.

Just go for it, what is the worst thing that can happen really?
