sorry for clunky title

ds is nearly 7 months and wont eat.

went through a phase of trying to grab from plates at about 5 months but we held out until 6 months to start weaning.
have had a really nasty chest infection GP tried to hospitalise us! just getting over it.

any attempt at feeding results in grabbing my hand thrusting it away and turning head and making a face, lips held tightly together you get the picture

I'm thinking about going to GP but just wondered whether anyone knew at what age we should get worried. I'm imagining this food window which if we miss means we will be struggling to get him to eat

thanks

I really wouldn't worry about it (I know, easy for me to say). Have you tried baby led weaning - ie putting him in his high chair with a couple of bits of toast and some chopped up fruit and ignoring him?

It doesn't matter really if he doesn't eat much until he's one as long as he's drinking enough milk. 'Until they're one, food is just for fun' is the mantra of baby led weaning and that worked for us.
