How would you cook them? Pan fry or boil?? I'm thinking chunky sticks...

Boil or maybe roast? They would be crispy (easy to hold) on the outside and soft in the middle.

Chunky sticks are good.

I boil. They are his FAVOURITE THING - how weird

flowerybeanbag · 19/05/2010 10:11

I steam them in the microwave, in a little tub with a bit of water, lid on loosely, one minute. Chunky sticks.

I stole the courgette fritter recipe from the BLW site - DD loves them.
Basically, grate courgette, squeeze water out, grate onion and mix with some flour & baking powder and spice of choice (cumin or something) then fry a dollop in a little butter 2-3 mins on each side. The BLW site has more specific quantities etc or you can just play around til you get it right!

oh or I panfry in a little butter, quite thick slices, she loves those too...

Thanks all of you

I panfried them as I didn't have time to roast. I will try the pattie things

I briefly boil or steam - they are a favourite here!

I pan fry in stick with some garlic. Yummy!

I tend to boil or steam courgettes. My 7 month old also enjoys cucumber sticks to help with teething
