Poo question - sorry

Have just started (4 days ago) giving DD one meal of baby rice per day.

Noticed that since then, her poos have been dark green and a bit frothy - also very frequent although never much at one time. I mean, 7 or so times a day as opposed to once every few days before.

Other than that she seems in good health - no fever, sleeping well, playing well etc.

Normal? Or something I need to talk to the doctor about?

Um. Is she otherwise breast fed? Are you mixing the rice with breast milk or formula? It might eb a change of milk rather than the baby rice (ime, baby rice has the opposite effect - bunging) but otherwise might be worth mentioning to a dr.

Breastfed - no formula. Mixing rice with boiled water.

If you can express it might be worth trying one lot of rice with bm rather than water, but it would also be perfectly sensible to take her to the dr.

Thanks - will give that a try. We have an appointment for next week. She's not unwell and doesn't seem to be in any discomfort, so as long as it stays that way I will just mention it at the appointment.
