When can we give up formula?

Hi

Have posted this on breast/bottlefeeding too.

My DD is nearly 12 months old and at the moment is having two 7oz bottles of formula a day - morning and at bedtime (She also has yoghurt and milk on her cereal so I think she is getting about the 21 oz she is supposed to get).

She has a some sort of milk allergy which causes minor eczema. So she has soya yoghurt rather than cow's milk yoghurt, and her bottles are half Wysoy and half Hipp Organic follow on milk (we have to do half and half as she doesn't like Wysoy on its own!)

Do you think we could stop buying formula and just move on to giving her soya milk mixed with cows milk twice a day.

I'm conscious its time to be moving her off the bottles too.

Thanks
Bumps x

12 months is the normal guidance. You can but try - if she's having formula she's having milk already as formula is made from cows milk.
