BLWers whose babies sat unaided after 26 weeks

Even though they couldn't sit up unaided could they sit up in a highchair without extra support? If not did you use a towel or blanket or anything to prop them up? If so did you put it behind them, stuff it down the sides or both?

Hi Nappy - I got the Antilop highchair from Ikea, and you can buy a separate inflatable insert to wedge them in. Works an absolute treat. It pads the chair out from the back and sides, so if you're improvising I reckon do both.

Our DS (7mths) can't sit unaided, we're using a bumbo (he's tiny and too small for our Antilop ) and stuff tea towels round him to help him sit up and stop him twisting round and out of his seat!

Lol mistressploppy - we used to be in a pub quiz team called Badger with a Gun ! You had to be an Eddie fan to understand it . Even our cat is called Eddie!
