I'm interested in what everyone else thinks...

Ds is nearly 18 weeks. He was born 2 weeks over due date weighing 8lb 2onz. He is now 16 lb 10 onz (just above 75th centile).

He is exclusivly breast fed, and usually has a bottle of expressed milk at bed time. This week he has started taking 9onz!
Despite this increase in milk, he is actually pooing less often(from 1-2 a day, now 1 every 48hours) and is a thicker consistancy (although not constipated/dehydrated)

This week behaviour wise, he has gone from happy baby, to crying LOTS!
Also is doing 'goldfish' impressions when we are eating and very interested watching us eat.

What do you think?

18 weeks is early - would his tummy cope?

milk is more calorific than anything you could give him now.

is he sitting up? if you put food in front of him would he actually eat it? if not i'd say no.

not sure the poo is of significance - he's obviously using the milk and he weight looks fine so he's thriving on milk .
