How do I wean a 2.9 year old off a night bottle?

All night he wakes up and says "little bit" and "tiny bit" - wanting more milk in his bottle.

Also, how do I get him to stay in bed!

At that age I would tell him that I sleep at night and if he is thirsty there is a trainer beaker by the bed with water.

Yes, he is taking the piss rather - must nip it in the bud, as I'm exhausted...
