large pieces of vegetables, pieces of meat, toast, fruit, anything you eat can be adapted really!

DS is 7.5 months and we just put anything we eat on his tray. yesterday he ate lasagne by picking up the pieces of pasta with everything stuck to them.

a few or our current favourites (dd 9mo):

pasta, (sweet) potato, parsnip

toast (also cheesy toast) or (unsalted organic) rice cakes with philadelphia, houmous, apple puree

low salt and low sugar baked beans, black eyed peas,

peas (petit pois), french beans, cucumber, cooked carrots, tomatoes, avocado

grated cheese/carrots/apple

meatballs (anabelle karmel recipe), roast chicken/turkey cut in strips

salmon (cooked in the oven and cut in flakes iyswim)

cut up grapes, melon, mango, banana, papaya, pineaple, apple, strawberries

I usually cook something and dd has it for a couple of meals, supplemented by an "ella's kitchen" vegetable pouch if dd will let me feed her puree (often refused).
