How much to feed a six month old

Hello

My DD is six months old and beend on solids for about three or four weeks, starting slowly with veg and baby rice but now ( on the advice of the health visitor) eating pureed chicken and rice etc. She loves this and I am just wondering how much to feed her really, she quite often cries when her food is finished, I am not sure wether to keep feeding her until she refuses or go with what I think is enough. I dont want to over feed her, but also dont want her to be hungry!

I am currently giving her four ice cubes of food per meal and somtimes natural yogurt with pureed pears for afters

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

xx

If she is still having the same amount of milk as usual, I'd be tempted to top up the difference with more food.
If, however, she's declining milk in favour of food I'd be tempted to offer her some milk at the end of the meal to fill her up.

At this age they are mostly getting used to tastes and textures rather than relying on the food for all their nutrional needs.
