thats my question really. i have been weaning nearly 7 month old now since 25 weeks. she has 25-35 oz milk a day (and did before weaning so not much changes there) but now having 2-3 solid feeds a day on top. porridge for brekkie, a savory puree for lunch and fruit and yogurt (for example) at tea time. today she has had 4 dirty semi solid nappies. I stop spoon feeding when she wants but it takes a bit of encouragement to get her started then she'll have around 8 teaspoon of 'food' per meal.

is the increased bowel movements a sign of overfeeding? its not every day but today she did eat more than she has had up til now.

BTW i offer food in between bottle feeds so she is having either milk or solids every 2 hours (not sure how to fit in the 3 solid offerings between 7am and 7pm otherwise.

My 5.5 month old has started pooing more but not weaning. I think it's because he's ill or teething... I'm not sure though!
