I have slowly started letting DD suck on fruits she snatches from me, since she will be 6 months old in a fortnight. She is really really keen, but should I get worried when whole chunks of banana disappear in her little mouth?
I am scared she will choke, but not sure on how much I should intervene.. hope someone can advise!

I would say, dont intervene, just observe and be there if she really starts struggling with it. Banana is pretty soft so mushes down quite well in thier mouths.

She may gag abit but thats natural and will wear off as he gag reflex moves further back. I remeber DD being sick a few times at first from gagging. MY advise would be to not get flustered by it as she will pick up on it and panic. The calmer you are the better (even just outwardly!) just an "oh dear", quick clean up and continue
