Jess is 6m next week and I started weaning at 5m. She loves her food and is being spoon fed but for the last week a bit of a nightmare.
She has a feed at 5.30 am and would then usually take some of her bottle with either rice or porridge at about 9am no probs with a another puree of fruit or veg at her 4pm feed.
Lately she turns her nose up at her 9am feed - may have an ounce if lucky and no food. Today she was like this went through to 12 noon and only took 5 ounces not her usual 7.
She's in a delightful mood so I know she is well but just concerned. Is it because she has not started having food and is going off her milk.
Also, when should I start with 3 feeds, and to look at stopping her milk with these?
Sorry so many questions but the hv don't seem to help.

I care for a 6month old. She has taken to food brilliantly and so has started to drop feeds. She has 3 feeds a day...mid morning, mid afternoon and bedtime of around 9oz each.

She has breakfast at 7..lunch at midday followed by a two hour nap and then wake up to bottle then tea around 5 and bath at 6 with bedtime bottle about7.

Her Mum sometimes gives her a top up feed about 11pm but that's being dropped soon.

Everyone is different but this is a plan that is working for us xx
