hi hope someone can help.
my son is 16 and a hals months old.
he has got into the habit of throwing up his last milk feed before bed (and the majority of his tea) every nightabout 2 minutes after he is put to bed.
now he loves going to bed and has always been this way,i even have to tempt him up in the morning so he doest stay sleeping til 9am!
however i am really confused by this sick thing every night.
he has 7/8oz of milk in the morning and the same just before bed (around 7.30pm ) he has 3 meals a day .
i am wondering if he still needs this milk at bed time? is it too much for him with the food he eats and making him feel sick?
please let me know what you think, id also be really interested to know what your children of similar age are given milk wise.
tia

how close is the bedtime milk to dinner time? When dd used to do this I cut the milk down a bit at the bedtime feed as it was too much on top of her dinner. At this age both my lo's had a small beaker of milk at breakfast and bedtime as they only need around 12oz of milk after 1 year.

hi thanks for your response.
he has tea at 4.30 ish and bedtime milk at 7.15 ish.
what you see does ring true tbh as after his bedtime milk he sort of looks absolutely ready to pop! totally stuffed.now he is fine untill he lays flat and the its like he feels sick and uncomfortable and starts crying non stop.
id like to try just giving him his brakfast milk, but would 7/8 oz per day be enough also would i just bath him and put him to bed or would i offer some water in the beaker before bed?
