BLW- sausage?

Other two are having sausage amd mash. Can DS2 have it? (6 months). I am veggie and the other two were veggie until they chose for themselves so have never weaned with meat.

DH says he can't have it, it is a Tesco finest cumberland sausage.

So, can he?

Hi Suwoo,

I gave DH some venison sausage at 5.5mo to 'suck' on (BLW). Salt content is the issue but as long as only once a week/not overly salty/ no added salt I think it would be fine.

HTH.

Once dd had started solids at 27ish weeks she ate what we did. She loved and loves sausages, but I made my own to keep an eye on salt.

DH 'won't' let me give it to him, says it will be too gristly.

yes it's fine. migt find the skin difficult so maybe cut it open?

suwoo · 07/02/2010 17:45

Was going to cut it length ways. But its all relative as I'm not allowed.

Cock.

I cut it lengthways-easy to hold&suck on.

How's lunch going, suwoo?

suwoo · 08/02/2010 13:59

Hiya. Bloody DH ate it last night. I told him I knew he did it so DS didn't get it [grr].

I don't suppose DH will have any objections to the omlette I am planning for tea.
