diarrhoea and weaning

Have just started to wean my 6mth old. However seems too have really terrible diarrhoea about 2hrs after feed...has anyone else had this problem and what should I do??

Hi when we started weaning DS (now 10.5m) he had diarrhoea one week, then constipation the next. I assumed it was just him getting used to different types of food and it's calmed down now.

When he had diarrhoea we feed him plain stodgy stuff like porridge, toast etc. And when he's constipated, lots of fruit (but not banana), water etc.
