can i also ask should i give dd her readybrek or whatever BEFORE i offer her a milk feed. at the moment im giving milk first then food an hour later, would it be better to give solids first?

Milk first as this is where the main calories will come from.

Teething does upset their solids intake. DD only ever wanted/wants milk when she's teething/poorly.

Breakfast, well, anything really.

Toast/muffins/crumpets/bagels
Eggs- scrambled, boiled, poached, omelette
Cereals- dd loved weetabix in particular
Porridge
Fruit and yoghurt

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and at that age, you can give anything, barring honey, whole nuts and anything with a lot of salt/sugar.
