Naturally salty foods

I did search for this topic but couldn't find a thread more recent than 2002, and I wondered whether advice might have changed since then. Obviously I don't add any salt to my DD's food (she's 8mo) but I was wondering about food that's already high in salt - bacon, salami, anchovies etc. She loves strong flavours (been getting them down the BF pipe for months!) and I don't want to exclude things from her diet if they're ok in moderation. Not talking a bacon sandwich for breakfast here, but for example we had bacon and mushroom risotto for dinner last night (didn't add salt) and I set a little aside for her today. Ok? what do you think?

everything is fine in moderation so if you are giving a meal with a bit extra salt then just try not to give anything else salty that particular day - it will all even out over the week anyway if you are careful
