Can I give my nearly 8 month old a boiled egg?

I want to try her with one I have googled it but lots of confusing advice.

Has she had things with egg in before? I think as long as the white and yolk are firmly set then it's fine but I can't really remember and dd3 is only rising 3 I'm sure she had scrambled egg and omelette before age 1.
