BLW & poo...

Sorry if this TMI...

DD1 is 22w but started BLW as she was gnawing at food.

Quick question. I can see evidence of food in her poos ie banana, orange. Not the normal bf poos tho.

Should I be worried?
It's just today tho.

Apologies if I' m being paranoid.

Oh it comes out much as it went in for a while Sweetcorn is amazing. Sooner or later it turns to "proper" poo but then every cold, tummy bug, tooth etc makes it go back. Ah the joy of scraping weaning poo off nappies

Yep this happened with my DD - still does sometimes and she is 9.5 months! Its normal.

DitaVonCheese · 08/01/2010 23:14

Oh yes, this is quite normal I think! I found it fascinating, particularly as she didn't seem to be eating anything, yet there it all was. DH accused me of rummaging through her dirty nappies

DD loves sweetcorn and still does incredibly nobbly poos at 15 months when she's had a lot

PS bananas tend to come out as tiny black worms - don't be scared!

HerMomminess · 09/01/2010 18:11

Yup...can confirm the banana turning black, bits of orange...exciting times or what! Cheers for replies&reassurance.

Here we go activity!
