Food help

Hi All

I used to be on the boards quite a lot but rarely have the time now! I need some help from fellow mums with LO?s around the same age (DS is just coming up for 18 months now) as I am struggling a bit with DS?s food. My DS is very good at breakfast but is now getting a little fussy with his other meals. I am looking for a little bit of inspiration and am interested to know what your LO is eating for lunch and dinner.

Thanks

My daughter loves the following:

Lunch:
Pasta with either pesto or tomato stir through.
Rice with olives peppers and mushrooms.
Cous-Cous the heat and serve ones in waitrose.
Scrambled eggs on bagels/crumpets.
Polenta with gruyere or chedder.
Soup with a roll.

Dinner:
As lunch but with normally more protein such as chicken, pork, cheese.
I normally serve 3 bowls of veg and let the family help themselves to their portions.

I found that DD also became a bit fussy at this age but it passed quite quickly. I try not to worry about the day to day choices but more look at the weekly overview. For example yesterday at dinner she ate mostly carrots and cauliflower cheese with a potato and one mouthful of meat. I let it slide as I knew that at lunch she had eaten eggs and a salad so probably just wanted a change.

Good luck.

Sorry, forgot to say she is a bit older at 2years 4months but she has generally eaten this since BLW at 6months.
