BLW & water : cooled boiled?

Hi started BLW with my then 6mo DD 3 weeks ago and it's going great she's an enthusiastic eater and we're enjoying this new phase. Today I gave her an empty sippy cup to play with before eating and I think I should give her water to drink with food (can't believe this didn't occur to me til now!) she seemed to know what to do with it.
She is bf and has never had any water to date.

Should water be cooled boiled if so (first baby - bear with me) how do I do this - boil it up put it in cup then put in fridge or just leave standing in kitchen to cool? Either way requires bit of prep in advance so how long will it keep for in the cup?

Is bottled or tap water out of the question at this age?

TIA

tap water is fine as a drink from 6 months so no need to boil it now.

I'd go with tap water. I don't think bottled water is recommended for babies.

Glad the BLW is going well for you
