Hi my 5month old daughter is just being weaned just now on purrees - she loves them but she has choked a couple of times - she starts gagging, which I know is normal, but twice during these occasional gagging episodes she has struggled to take a breath ( just for seconds) due to the coughing and her lips have turned a very slight blue - a couple of back thumps and a good breath and she is always fine but can't remember this happening with my son......is this normal?? Ta!!!

Can she stil up, shows interest in your food, hold food herself and get it to her mouth?

If the answer is no, she may be a bit too young.
