Hi,
My baby is coming up 5 months and has suffered from reflux. He is on prescriptive milk at the moment, but just wondered if anyone had any advice on when to start weaning him, if there's any foods to avoid and how many feeds and what times to feed him when I do start, and also how many feeds of milk they have too. Am slightly clueless!!!

My DD is 11 months, and was on prescription milk since she was 8 weeks. We didn't need to wean any earlier than 6 months. My weaning experience wasn't really much different to that of any of my friends. My HV suggested we avoid anything that was very acidic at the every beginning, so we avoided strawberries, oranges etc. However, now she's eating everything and anything (apart from honey and nuts). I think food has helped her reflux further, we're taking her off the prescription formula in the next month.
