daft question...how do i cook chicken breast for baby?

hi all, i have a pot of lentils, sweet potato and carrot bubbling away and want to add chicken to it...if a fry it....dry fry it it will have a stronger flavour and be a bit tough..can i boil it and then add it, can i add it raw to the pot? baby is 8mths old... please help!

Is there enough sauce to submerge the chicken? If so then just chuck it in raw and leave it to simmer for 30 mins or so. It will be delicious!

Yes you need to poach it in something ideally to keep it tender.

great thanks...theres quite a lot of liquid still for the lentils to absorb..so i'll chuck it in and skim off any crud..big kiss for your help!

shes just scoffed it down! great combo...i also threw in a few dried apricots...i recommend it!

i cooked my chicken in the oven in a foil pouch with some water - like you would for fish. i cooked it with some chunks of apple and pureed it with the apple and some butternut squash i'd roasted. it smelt yummy! [smug]
